The family of John Rodriguez and Samona Chiles were recent victims of a house fire that caused the loss of their family pet and personal belongings. With the generous support of Calvary Christian School (CCS) and the Santa Ana Police Officers Association (SAPOA), they are able to start the recovery of the losses they suffered.
Gerry Serrano, SAPOA President, was joined by Leah Hess Head of School, CCS to present a donation to the family.
Samona Chiles, stated, “I’m one of the family members of the devastating fire that happened. I want to thank my CCS family, Calvary Christian School, as well as the Santa Ana Police Department [Officers] Association. They have been very generous for my family, and we couldn’t be more than grateful.”
A request for assistance for the family was presented to the board of the association and unanimously approved by the board. SAPOA, President Gerry Serrano presented a check on behalf of the men and women of the Santa Ana Police Officers Association.

By providing a donation to ease their burden, as they must now rebuild their home,” stated, Gerry Serrano, President of Santa Ana Police Officers Association
